The Port does offer long-term moorage opportunities. Currently the Port of Kingston has 262 permanent moorage slips that range in size from 24 to 60 feet in length including 54 covered moorage slips. At this time the uncovered moorage rate is $5.67 per foot plus a 12.84% leasehold tax. The covered moorage rate is $9.26 per foot plus a 12.84% leasehold tax.
Electricity is invoiced at $.095 per kilowatt-hour. Live-a-boards are limited to 5% of the permanent moorage tenants and must execute a live-a-board agreement with the Port Office. Services available to our tenants include water, electronic key card access, 30 amp power, restrooms & showers, laundry facilities, and pump out stations.

There is currently a waitlist for all permanent moorage. To be placed on the waitlist you must complete an application, and pay an annual non-refundable fee of $25.00.
All tenants must provide the Port Office with proof of liability insurance showing a minimum amount of $300,000 for property, general, legal and pollution liability limits and listing the Port of Kingston as “additional insured” on the policy prior to executing a moorage agreement. The Port Office must receive updated insurance when any policy changes occur.
All tenants must display current licensing on their vessel and must provide the Port Office with a copy of their current vessel registration.
